Mike Dawkins, who most know as “Mike D” some others “Modest 1” was born and raised in Etobicoke, ON (a small suburb just west of downtown Toronto). From an early age, music and art was an obvious focus and inspiration in a young person’s life.

That interest and passion continued to grow as time moved on, and that sent Mike on a path in which he would never turn back.

A man of “many hats” whose experience has included, private yachts, hotels, resorts, and more recently education and community. Art remains the front-runner, with a major focus involving youth (youthreach.ca).
